My weekend at Terracotta Cottage was a delightful surprise! Tucked away in Te Awamutu, this cozy retreat offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. the spacious studio not only featured a private entrance and bathroom but also a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, and toaster - perfect for those who enjoy cooking their meals. Despite being close to the busy road, the peaceful ambiance inside the cottage allowed for a restful night's sleep. the beds were warm and comfortable, and the personal touch of Feijoas left in the room added a lovely New Zealand flair. Our host, T, went above and beyond to accommodate our changing group size, showing exceptional kindness and hospitality, making our stay all the more memorable. Exploring the backyard, we discovered a treasure trove of fresh New Zealand fruits like feijoas, apples, kiwis, and grapes - a true delight for nature lovers. the location, just 20 km from the Mystery Creek Events Centre, was ideal for our weekend getaway. With free WiFi, parking, and essential amenities like bed linen and towels provided, Terracotta Cottage offers a relaxing retreat in the heart of the Waikato region.
